Michael is an entrepreneurial higher education executive with over 25 years of proven expertise leading and driving positive change and organizational growth. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the Florida Institute of Technology, Vice President of Finance and Operations at the Keck Graduate Institute at the Claremont Colleges, and Senior Director of Finance and Business Services at California State University, Long Beach. Primary responsibilities have included financial management, facilities, technology and business operations, and strategic planning.  He has managed multiple opportunities in higher education in excess of $500M with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, strategic partnerships, and academic program development. Michael serves as an accreditation reviewer for the WASC Senior College and University Commission. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
