Joseph Chillo served as the 5^th president at Newbury College, a private, independent college located near Boston, where he served in many other positions prior to serving as chief executive. He formulated and successfully led the planned closure of Newbury College at the end of the spring 2019 semester, following several years of declining enrollment. Joseph Chillo has deep and extensive experience with the regulatory, operational, and student needs of closing an institution of higher education.
